Voter Registration Deadline Approaching
Sacramento County Voter Registration and Elections (VRE) reminds residents that Monday, October 22, 2018 is the last day to register to vote, update voter's residential address or change party affiliation for the November 6, 2018 General Election.
Residents are encouraged to register online
or pick-up a voter registration card at any Sacramento Public Library, post office or the Elections Office, 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento 95823. In order to be a registered voter, the voter registration form must be filled out completely, signed and postmarked by October 22, 2018, or hand-delivered to the Elections Office by 5:00 p.m. by October 22, 2018.
Voters are encouraged to return their ballots early and sign their pink Vote by Mail envelope in order for their ballot to be counted. Information on the days and hours of operation for Ballot Drop Boxes or upcoming Vote Centers is available on the VRE website at www.Elections.SacCounty.net

Key Election Dates
|Close of voter registration for November General Election. Voter registration forms must be mailed (postmarked by this date) or delivered to the Elections Office, 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento. Online voter registration must be completed before midnight www.registertovote.ca.gov
|Conditional Voter Registration (CVR) begins. Voting period for new citizens who are sworn in after close of registration for this election begins
|Eighteen 11 Day Vote Centers open for this election
|Last day a VBM ballot can be mailed to you. After this date, VBM ballots are only available at the Elections Office or Vote Centers
|Election Day – all ballots must be received or postmarked by 8:00 p.m.
