County Voter Information Guides
Mailed to Sacramento County Registered Voters
The Voter Registration and Elections (VRE) Office has mailed the County Voter Information Guide (CVIG) for the November 6 election to Sacramento County registered voters. The VRE Office printed more than 717,000 Guides in English, Spanish and Chinese.
Registered voters can expect the CVIG to arrive in their mailboxes this week. It will include Ballot Drop Box and Vote Center locations, local candidate statements, measures on the voter’s ballot, and important dates and information. Voters that have ‘opted out’ of receiving a paper version of the CVIG may view it on the VRE website beginning October 8.
Key Election Dates
October 8 – Mailing of ballots to all registered voters commences
October 22 – Close of voter registration for November 6 election. Voter registration forms must be mailed (postmarked) by this date or delivered to the VRE Office, 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento 95823. Online voter registration must be completed before midnight on this date at
www.registertovote.ca.gov
October 23 – Conditional Voter Registration (CVR) and voting period for new citizens who are sworn in after close of registration begins
October 30 – Last day a Vote by Mail (VBM) ballot can be mailed to you. After this date, VBM ballots are only available at the VRE Office or at any of the 78 Vote Centers
November 6 – Election Day
