SENATE DISTRICT 1 SPECIAL GENERAL ELECTION UPDATE
Voting has Officially Begun for State Senate District 1 Special General Election
Sacramento County Voter Registration and Elections (VRE) has delivered Vote by Mail (VBM) ballots to the U.S. Postal Service for distribution to registered voters in
Senate District 1 for the June 4, 2019, Special General Election. The Election Office is open for voting beginning today through Election Day.
Voters may use any Official Ballot Drop Box to return their ballot. VRE has a drive-through Ballot Drop Box in the Election Office parking lot at 7000 65th Street, Sacramento. This Ballot Drop Box is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until
8:00 p.m. on Election Night. Voters preferring to return their ballot by mail may use the postage paid pink envelope in their VBM ballot packet.
Voters are encouraged to return their ballots early and must
sign their
pink VBM envelope in order for their ballot to be counted. Information on the days and hours of operation for Ballot Drop Boxes or upcoming Vote Centers is available on the VRE website at www.SacCounty.net, or use the links in the Key Election Dates below.
