MARCH 3, 2020, PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ELECTION UPDATE
Randomized Alphabet Drawing


The Voter Registration and Elections (VRE) office will hold a randomized alphabet drawing to determine the order in which candidates’ names appear on the March 3, 2020, Presidential Primary Election ballot. All contest ballot order will follow the results of the randomized drawing conducted by the Secretary of State. The results of the VRE drawing shall be used only to arrange the names of the candidates when the Assembly and Senate District includes more than one county.
  
The VRE drawing will be conducted at the Sacramento County Elections Office at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2018. The office is located at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento CA 95823. Anyone interested is invited to observe the drawing.
