PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ELECTION UPDATE
Nomination Period Extended for Local Offices
The nomination period for the following local offices that are scheduled to be voted upon at the March 5, 2024, Presidential Primary Election in Sacramento County has been extended until 5:00 p.m. on December 13, 2023. The extension is only applicable to candidates other than the incumbent.
The nomination period is still open for the following local office:
Board of Supervisors, District 4
Judge of the Superior Court, Office No. 21
County Board of Education, Area 4
Persons wishing to run for this office must file their completed nomination papers at the Voter Registration and Elections Office at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento, California, by 5:00 p.m. on December 13, 2023. For more information, contact Campaign Services at (916) 875-6276.
