STATEWIDE DIRECT PRIMARY ELECTION UPDATE
Nomination Period Extended for Local Offices
The nomination period for the following local offices that are scheduled to be voted upon at the June 7, 2022, Statewide Direct Primary Election in Sacramento County has been extended until 5:00 p.m. on March 16, 2022. The extension is only applicable to candidates other than the incumbent.
The Nomination Period is still open for the following local offices:
Board of Supervisors, District 5
District Attorney
SheriffJudge of the Superior Court, Office No. 4
Judge of the Superior Court, Office No. 22
Sacramento County Board of Education, Area 2
Persons wishing to run for these offices must file their completed nomination papers at the Voter Registration and Elections Office at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento, California, by 5:00 p.m. on March 16, 2022. For more information, contact Karen Startup (916) 875-6365.
