​CALIFORNIA GUBERNATORIAL RECALL ELECTION UPDATE
County Voter Information Guide
Mailed to Sacramento County Registered Voters


The Voter Registration and Elections (VRE) Office has begun mailing the County Voter Information Guide (CVIG) for the September 14, 2021 California Gubernatorial Recall Election to Sacramento County registered voters. The VRE Office printed more than 800,000 Guides in English, Spanish and Chinese.

Registered voters can expect the CVIG to arrive in their mailboxes in the next week. It will include Ballot Drop Box and Vote Center locations. Voters that have 'opted out' of receiving a paper version of the CVIG may view it on the VRE website beginning August 16, 2021.

Voted ballots may be returned by mail (no postage needed) or in any of the Ballot Drop Boxes located throughout the County

Close of voter registration for the September 14, 2021 California Gubernatorial Recall Election. Voter registration forms must be postmarked by this date or delivered to the VRE Office at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento 95823 by 5:00 p.m. Online voter registration must be completed before midnight on this date at www.registertovote.ca.gov

Conditional Voter Registration (CVR) begins

 11 Day Vote Centers​ open

Last day a Vote by Mail (VBM) ballot can be mailed to you. After this date, VBM ballots are only available at the VRE Office or Vote Centers
