Ballot Tabulation to Begin September 1, 2021
The tabulation of ballots for the September 14, 2021 California Gubernatorial Recall Election is scheduled to begin on September 1, 2021. Members of the public are welcome to observe this process. To learn more, please visit the Election Observer Guidelines page on our website.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, you must make an appointment to observe the tabulation of ballots. To schedule an appointment, please call (916) 875-6451 or email voterinfo@saccounty.net. You may also call our toll-free voter assistance hotline at (800) 762-8019. The hotline has the ability to connect voters with disabilities with TTY (Text Telephone).
Livestream of ballot tabulation is available on the Voter Registration and Elections website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week once ballot tabulation begins.
