PRESIDENTIAL GENERAL ELECTION UPDATE
All Vote Centers are Now Open With COVID Procedures in Place

All 84 Sacramento County Vote Centers are now open for the November 3, 2020, Presidential General Election. Please visit the Vote Center page on our website for information on locations, and days and hours of operation. Any eligible resident of Sacramento County can visit any Vote Center location to request a ballot, register to vote or update their registration, receive voting assistance, or vote with the accessible voting equipment. All Vote Centers will be open 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

Vote Centers will be operating under public health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe voting environment as follows:

>
Voters should wear a clean face covering when visiting a Vote Center. If the voter is not wearing a face covering, one will be offered to the voter prior to entrance

>
Posted maximum room occupancy will be adhered to and social distancing will be enforced at check-in and during the voting process
>
Ballot Marking Devices and equipment will be sanitized after every voter
>
Gloves and single use pens will be provided to voters upon request
>
Election Workers will be wearing protective gloves and masks.

Voters wishing to return their mail ballot still have time to use a Ballot Drop Box. Visit the Ballot Drop Box page on our website for more information on locations near you. In addition, all Vote Centers will be offering outside ballot drop off. Please check the times of locations carefully; each Ballot Drop Box location and Vote Center has specific hours of operation. Remember, the ballot envelope must have the voter's signature.

Those preferring to mail their ballot may use their pink, postage paid Vote by Mail envelope. Ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2020. The ballot envelope must have the voter's signature.

If a registered voter has not yet received their ballot and cannot make it out to a Vote Center, voters can use the Accessible Vote by Mail system. This allows voters to access their ballot online, download it, and print it out. It also includes a return envelope. Internet and printers are required to use this system but any registered voter can use this method to ensure their voice is heard.
